Exactly what I wanted! I used to wear these when I was more of a skater. Excellent skateboard shoes for doing all sorts of tricks. That in mind? They don't have great traction because they are designed that way for doing tricks on a skateboard. But the comfort is outstanding, like wrapping your feet in pillows. I don't skate anymore do to physical problems that came from the Marine Corps. But at least my feet are happy
